Hi All. Simply just a Danish guy with bodybuilding as a hobby.
I like the old school way and have build my gym in accordance.
I call my gym MUSCLE GARDEN just as they have MUSCLE BEACH in the US :-)
Why did I start? I have always been quite active in my life and work in the construction industry but in the last 7 years or so I have gone to a more managerial position so the time on site is minimised unfortunately and sitting on the office chair is not beneficial at all. Anyway after a few good years I started to get some serious headaches and had to see the doctor which told me that I had a VERY high blood pressure plus very high cholesterol count and limiting obesity as well. So he gave me some tablets which helped but. I didn't really like to fill myself with them.
So I decided to get myself an Exercise bike for starters, the good thing here is that I could soon see the benefits and thought that I was doing great and obviously wanted more (human nature I guess).
After having lost approx. 20Kg's I bought some dumbbell's and then a straight bar, then some more weights and after a while then my bedroom was crammed with the stuff, then I got the idea to built my own little place in my garden and uploaded a few videos on Instagram. I didn't imagine that it was going to be anything serious but after a few of my work colleagues started to ask me for home training programs and the followers started to come then I thought that it could be a good idea to increase the volume of videos and maybe it motivate others in the same situation as my self and my colleagues.
I'm not in it for the money that's for sure, I'm in it because it helps me to have better quality on life (better time with my 10 year old son as well) and if I can get just one or 2 people (ideally thousands) to feel the same way as I feel then I think that I have something worthwhile and that cannot be bought for money.
My simplistic view is:
If you have reached the first 3 F's; Forty, Fat and Finished then it's time to go for the next 3 F's; Fifty, Fit and Fabulous
Because all you get is honesty and real human conversation.
I'm here to spread the interest and love for the sport.
I give advice if you need. I take advice if you have any.
if you are stuck in you routine then I might be able to help. just ask
